Student Immunizations are being offered at the school this spring on May 12th. Letters were mailed to students who are due for a shot. Please return forms to the school office. In the past, shots were offered in the fall. This year we are being proactive and offering them before school is out for the summer. On Sunday, May 2nd, there will be a girls basketball team meeting from 3-4 PM for girls who will be entering grades 9-12 this fall and plan to participate in girls basketball. The meeting will be in the Underwood gym and the front commons area doors will be open. Following the team meeting there will be a parents meeting from 4-5 PM. TLM Offers Saturday School from 8 a.m. to noon: Students who have accumulated more than 10 absences in a semester must make up that time to receive credit for their classes (students/parents in this situation are directly notified). There are four four-hour sessions remaining for the 2021-2022 school year: April 24, May 1, May 8, and May 15. Please remember doors will close at 9 a.m. if no one shows up.
K-8 Parent Input Wanted: Ed Direction, TLM's partner for school improvement, seeks K-8 parent input via a short survey. Ed Direction is conducting a comprehensive appraisal this week for grades K-8 to help us identify our strengths as well as areas of opportunity for next year. This appraisal is not for compliance or accountability, but rather to ensure that our school improvement efforts are focused and high impact. South McClean County Soil Conservation District will be presenting all TLM preK-6 students seedlings in honor of Arbor Day. Trees will arrive April 29 with roots wrapped for students to bring home. Thank you to Katherine Butler in her help organizing the event!
The Junior class is looking for white Christmas lights to use for their prom on May 1st. Lights will be returned to you once prom is completed. If you are will and able to provide lights for them to use, please call Laura in the front office at 448 - 2365. Thank you!
