NOTICE OF ANNUAL SCHOOL ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 the Annual School Election will be held at the Turtle Lake-Mercer School in Turtle Lake, McLean County, North Dakota for the purpose of electing a member to the School Board for the Turtle Lake-Mercer School District No. 72. 

 Elect:  One(1) member within the boundaries of the Turtle Lake-Mercer School District for the following term.

NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINE

Notice is hereby given that the deadline for filing to have a candidate’s name printed on the ballot for the Turtle Lake-Mercer School District No. 72 is  before 4:00 p.m., April 7, 2025.

Residents who desire to be on the ballot must file a signed statement that includes the candidate’s name and the term being sought along with Statement of Interests forms and Financial Disclosure forms. Documents must be filed with the school district Business Manager for Turtle Lake-Mercer School District No. 72 by the above deadline date and time. All forms are available from either the school district business manager for Turtle Lake-Mercer School District No. 72 or may be obtained online at https://vip.sos.nd.gov/PortalListDetails.aspx?ptlhPKID=30&ptlPKID=3#content-start.

 
Please return the forms before the deadline using one of the following methods:

  • Drop off at the Business Manager’s Office. 

  •  E-mailed to laura.fiedler@k12.nd.us. Please call me at 701 -448- 2365 to confirm received.

 
Please keep in mind the deadline for filing is before 4:00 p.m., April 7, 2025.  All methods of filing must be received by this deadline.
