6th grade pumpkin catapults! Questions to ask the 6th graders about what they learned: What is your design goal? What type of energy did your catapult use? What makes the projectile go the furthest? What happens when you move the fulcrum?

The Physics class helped the kindergarten class with a pumpkin activity today! Some questions to ask your kindergartener are: How many seeds did your pumpkin have? Did your pumpkin sink or float? How many cubes tall was your pumpkin?

Monday, November 1st, will be Pajama Day for all students. We hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween on Sunday!

Great start to learning this morning! Read aloud with rhyming words, calendar time packed full of skills, place value, and expository text are just a few of the things we are learning about in K-3!

Class Photos are being taken on Thursday by Platinum Photography. Order forms were sent home with students yesterday. Additional forms are available in the school office.

REMINDER: Picture Day is this Thursday, October 28, 2021. Turn in order forms at school. Or you can order online at mylifetouch.com using school code EVT8KGQJH. Retakes are scheduled for November 22, 2021.

Calling all trick-or-treaters! Join the TL Chamber of Progress and WOW this Sunday from 4:00-5:00.

There will be a fan mini-bus going to Jamestown tomorrow (Friday) to watch the Cross Country athletes run at State. Anyone interested in riding should call Sara at the Underwood School 442-3201 before noon today to sign up. Coat is $5.00 per person. Thanks!

FACS room progress!

Today the Kindergarten through 3rd grade traveled to Papa’s Pumpkin Patch! They stopped at a park beforehand to enjoy lunch. Thank you Turtle Lake American Legion for sponsoring today’s trip!

REMINDER: First District Health Unit will be at the school tomorrow, October 19th to give flu shots. If you would like your child to receive a shot, please return the consent form to the school. Forms are available in the school office or visit www.fdhu.org. Thank you!
