Just a few reminders for the last week of school: Monday, May 22nd - Honor Society Induction at 9:00 AM in the gym. Tuesday, May 23rd - Senior Walk following announcements. Seniors, don't forget your caps and gowns! 12:00 elementary field day. Wednesday, May 24th - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!! 8:30 graduation practice, 9:45 Kindergarten Graduation, 11:00 Elementary Awards, 12:30 dismissal. Sunday, May 28th - Class of 2023 Graduation at 2:00 in the Ed Rath Auditorium.

Monday Muffins - Monday, May 22nd 8:00-8:30 Students and parents are invited to the school cafeteria to enjoy a muffin.

Third grade had such a fun day at Dakota Zoo. It was a little cools to start but ended up being a beautiful day!  The animals were out and active. Big thanks to Jill Britton, Kayla Ebach, Amber Kinn, Nadine Hagen, and Ashley Brown for hanging out with us today. Also a big thanks to Deb and Rhonda for packing and sending yummy sack lunches. We enjoyed them in the park!!  

Eckroth Music is hosting 1 Hour Power Camps for beginning ukelele players of all ages and guitar effects and pedalboard setup for all ages and skill levels. Check out the poster for more information.

4th grade visited the capital, Heritage Center and Fort Mandan What is the monkey room?  Who stayed at Fort Mandan?  Describe the Native American game you played.  

Today the 6th graders played Battleship to practice graphing ordered pairs. Ask these students: How do you know which coordinate is first? How many quadrants are on the coordinate plane?

Congratulations to Makinlee Haas! She made it into the Million Word Club today!

Tonight we gathered at Turtle Lake Baptist Church for the Class of 2023's baccalaureate. We hope you join them on Sunday, May 28th at 2:00 for their graduation at the Ed Rath Auditorium! Congratulations to these seven seniors, we are proud of you!

7th Annual Hatchery Fun Day is at the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery on May 27th, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Face Painting, Little Tykes Trout Pond, Turtle Touch Tank, Rock Painting, Junior Ranger Class, Science Experiments. Hatchery Tour Guides available. Admission is Free!

The Elementary Track Meet in Underwood has been cancelled due to the smoke/poor air quality. The kids will be arriving back at school after they get their treats!

Reminder that Elementary Track and Field is in Underwood tomorrow (May 17th) for grades 4, 5, and 6. A couple items to consider for tomorrow: sunscreen, bug spray, running shoes, shorts, and water bottle. Mrs. Buchholz informed us that the mosquitoes are out on the field.

4th grade put on a living museum on Friday, May 12th. Questions to ask them about their wonderful presentations. Which ND Roughrider Hall of fame person did you portray?  Did you have a fun day?

Wednesday, May 17th is the 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Track Meet in Underwood. Start time is 12:30. Here is the order of events. Congratulations to Henry Wardner! He made it into the Million Word Club today!

The 6th graders had a bake sale during high school lunch. They enjoyed displaying their baked goods and greeting their customers. Things to ask these students: What do you include in an advertisement? What were some of the popular goods at the sale?

5th grade had fun at Gateway to Science and Theo Art School today! Ask them about their favorite science station and what kind of paint they used to paint their canvas!

Due to weather conditions, the Band Night Parade in Bismarck has been cancelled. TLM students were already on the way to Bismarck when we received notification. Therefore, students will instead go bowling and eat dinner before returning back to school around 7:00 PM.
