Upon completion of this class, students will be able to complete the EMR certification in order to be eligible for employment as soon as they turn 18 and/or graduate. We are very grateful for these partnerships in education!

Thank you, Bank of Turtle Lake, for the homecoming treats!

The TL-M 7th/8th grade Geography class applied what they learned about Relative and Absolute Location on a walking field trip around Turtle Lake. They walked to Main Street Market, the park, Rusty the Turtle, and back to the school. At each location the kids looked up the physical address (absolute location) and wrote it down. Then they had to give the location of where they visited in terms of something else (relative location). For example, some students said that the grocery store was across from the Bank of Turtle Lake.

The 7th grade FACS students spent some time in the library today finding a book to add to their “babysitting kit”! They have been learning all about child development in class. Next, they will be making finger puppets to go with their books!
