The 2021 - 2022 School Calendar was amended at last night's board meeting. The new calendar includes Back-to-School Night on Tuesday, August 17th from 3:30 - 5:00 which will include classroom visitation/meet the teacher, drop of supplies, and access to the school office to pay technology and athletic fees, as well as purchase CMC Season Passes. At 5:00 we will have our annual Title I meeting in the gym to review data and our Continuous Improvement Plan.
Also, Monday, September 27th will be a NO SCHOOL day for students as teachers will be participating in Professional Development.

2021 FALL SPORTS REMINDERS:
ALL athletes entering grades 7-12 are required by NDHSAA to have a sports physical PRIOR to the 1st day of practice. A sports physical form can be printed off from link below. (Form B will NOT be used this year)
Completed form needs to be turned into the school office, we will provide the forms to the coaches.
Student participation fees for ALL students in grades 7 - 12 will be approved a later date. Participation fees are due to the school office along with physical forms.
Girls Golf practices start August 2nd, Football starts August 5th, Cross Country starts August 9th, and Volleyball practice will start August 16th. Time and location about practices will be provided at a later time.
Elementary Girls' Basketball will begin Thursday, August 19th after school. No sports physicals are required elementary sports. We are still looking for a coach for this sport.

The work on our new roof is almost complete. Fascia and gutters are being installed. The new roof has a slight slope so water will not puddle on the roof. We are so grateful to be able to complete this project!

ND DPI is inviting all families to join The Summer Math Challenge! This is a free, six-week program that helps students practice math skills taught during the school year. When parents enroll their child, they’ll have access to daily fun activities and resources designed for each child’s grade and ability level.

Turtle Lake - Mercer is please that we will be extending our summer school offering for all students going into grades K - 6. Tutoring opportunities will begin on Tuesday, July 6th and end on Thursday, August 5th. It will run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with no tutoring on Wednesday, July 21st, and Thursday, July 22nd.
