7th Annual Hatchery Fun Day is at the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery on May 27th, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Face Painting, Little Tykes Trout Pond, Turtle Touch Tank, Rock Painting, Junior Ranger Class, Science Experiments.
Hatchery Tour Guides available. Admission is Free!
The Elementary Track Meet in Underwood has been cancelled due to the smoke/poor air quality. The kids will be arriving back at school after they get their treats!

Reminder that Elementary Track and Field is in Underwood tomorrow (May 17th) for grades 4, 5, and 6. A couple items to consider for tomorrow: sunscreen, bug spray, running shoes, shorts, and water bottle.

The 6th graders had a bake sale during high school lunch. They enjoyed displaying their baked goods and greeting their customers. Things to ask these students: What do you include in an advertisement? What were some of the popular goods at the sale?
5th grade had fun at Gateway to Science and Theo Art School today! Ask them about their favorite science station and what kind of paint they used to paint their canvas!
Due to weather conditions, the Band Night Parade in Bismarck has been cancelled.
TLM students were already on the way to Bismarck when we received notification. Therefore, students will instead go bowling and eat dinner before returning back to school around 7:00 PM.

Today Mr. Ziebarth grilled fresh 1/3 lb. hamburgers from Main Street Market! Thank you to Brent Ravnaas for your donation of these awesome burgers for all the students and staff to enjoy! Another great Beef Month meal at TL-M!
Fifth grade visited Fort Stevenson for Field Day. They took part in Feathered Friends, Soldier Life and Animal Adaptations stations. They learned a lot and enjoyed the beautiful weather! Ask them about the different soldier uniforms, the positions of animal eyes, and facts about owls.
Turtle Lake-Mercer students did a wonderful job during the community cleanup event today!
