On Friday, Mrs. Schlafmann and Mr. Ziebarth went to welcome the new Kindergartners to TL-M and bring their yard sign! We saw lots of smiling faces who are ready for their first day of school. We missed a few who weren't home, but can't wait to see them on August 21st for their first day of Kindergarten!!🖍️✂️

Hello everyone, I’m Amber. I’m excited to be teaching 7-12 Science this year. I graduated almost 20 years (yikes!) ago with a Bachelors of Science from NDSU where I majored in Microbiology and minored in Chemistry. I grew up in Mercer, ND. I have four children, Coltyn, Sadie, Logan and Carter. I stay busy cheering on the Central McClean Cougars as my kids are involved in volleyball, football and track. My hobbies include gardening and reading. I like getting outside and going for walks with my daughter. I also like running but I do that by myself as there is no way I could keep up with Sadie! I am looking forward to teaching so I can share my love of science with the students of TL-M.

Hello All, I’m Morgan. I grew up in Mercer, ND. My husband and I have two awesome kids, Reese & Quinn. We stay busy with the ranch life and raising our kids. I enjoy everything outdoors from checking on pastures, gardening, hunting, fishing, riding horse, and hanging at the lake. I look forward to this new journey with the TLM School being the secretary.
Fall Extracurriculars are quickly approaching as summer winds down. Here are the upcoming key dates for Central McLean Activities:
- Fall Activities Parents' Meeting is August 5th at 7:00 PM in Turtle Lake.
- Girls' Golf begins August 5th at 7:30 PM in Underwood at Westridge Golf Course.
- Varsity Football will begin August 8th in Turtle Lake at 8:00 AM.
- JH Football will start August 12th at 8:00 AM in Turtle Lake, bus will leave Underwood at 7:30.
- Varsity Volleyball will begin August 19th at 3:30 in Underwood.
- JH Volleyball will start August 19th at 3:30 in Turtle Lake.
A reminder that ALL 7-12 participants need to have a sports physical done BEFORE being allowed to practice. Physicals can be turned in at the office upon completion. Also, the $45/activity fee or $200 family max needs to be paid to the school office PRIOR to the first contest.

*Please make sure your child(ren) are up to date with immunizations
*If you or someone you know is new to the school district, please call the school at 448-2365 to register your child. Registration papers are also available on our website and can be picked up in the main office.
