Mrs. Wyman's Kindergarten has been working on their singing voices in music class. They have been doing a song called “Lemonade” and they change it to sing about whatever their favorite drink is. The song includes pouring water from cup to cup. They got to practice their pouring skills today by passing the water from one cup to the next. Questions to ask your student: Can you sing the song for me? How does the game work? Can you show me how to pour water gently?

Several weeks ago, the North Dakota-based company, BeMoreColorful, donated a virtual reality headset to every public school in North Dakota so that every school could access their platform, CareerView XR. This platform allows students to complete virtual reality job shadows in over 70 different careers. BeMoreColorful's donation, coupled with a grant that was received, means that the TL-M school has 12 headsets students can use to access these career exploration opportunities! During conferences tomorrow night, please feel free to stop by the table Mrs. Slavik will have set up to test out this VR software for yourself or just ask questions about how it all works!

Mrs. Philbrick's 7th grade class is learning about natural selection and adaptations in Life Science. When you come in for conferences on Tuesday, keep an eye out for the camouflaged butterflies around the lobby and hallway by the office. See if you can find all 11 of them! Some questions you can ask these students are:
What are adaptations? How are adaptations related to natural selection?
