Bjorn Anderson and Charlotte Wilson attended the Know Your State Competition at the National Energy Center of Excellence on the Bismarck State Campus. They competed in a 90 minute test composed of multiple choice and essay questions. They were able to attend the banquet with special guest Julie Fedorchak, from the North Dakota Public Service Commission. Thank you for representing TL-M well!

Turtle Lake-Mercer students in grades 9-12 were honored at the Masonic Honor Banquet in Washburn for their academic achievement. The students listed in bold in the image were honored as receiving the distinction as Masonic Honor Student all four years of high school. Congratulations to all students who were honored. Volunteers from the Audubon National Wildlife Refuge visited our classroom to teach us how to make seed balls to plant to celebrate Earth Day.

Turtle Lake-Mercer School hosted the 2024 McLean County Math Meet today! Mrs. Lelm and Mrs. Schumann put a lot of work into organizing a great event. Deb and Rhonda helped out in the kitchen to provide lunch also! Around 100 5th and 6th Grade students competed in 5 individual competitions and a team test today. Results were as follows: 5th Grade Individuals, 1st Place - Luke Laning (Washburn), 2nd Place- Elizabeth Britton (TL-M), 3rd Place - Malachi Treybig (Washburn), 4th Place - Liam Solomonson (Washburn), 5th Place - Brady Warkenthien (Wilton), 6th Place - Bridger Martin (TL-M)

Hank LaBore was a guest teacher in fourth grade on Friday and presented “Water, Land and People”. It was a fun filled day and the students learned much about ND.

Thank you to Jammy Ryckman with NorthStar Marketing! They provided a 65 inch TV for our cafeteria to display announcements. Students will be able to see leave times for contests, athletic events, and other important events along with lunch menus and other important information. Thanks to Case and McKenzie for being our students to showcase this great addition to TL-M School!
