Mrs. Philbrick’s sophomore biology class completed a cookie cell project today. Questions to ask these students are “what organelle powers the cell?” and “what is the difference between the rough ER and smooth ER?”. They look pretty yummy!

Our Student Council will be hosting a Veteran’s Day program (open to the public) beginning at 12:45 p.m., Friday, November 12, in our gymnasium to honor those who have served in the military. Grace Goven will be playing Taps (named by Congress in 2012 as the National Song of Remembrance). Her performance will be followed by a flag-folding ceremony conducted by Miss Ziebarth’s sixth-grade students, after which we will enjoy a program entitled “Letters From Home,” a memoir by ND Federal Jury Administrator Candy Schafer. Veterans in attendance will be invited to an ice cream social afterwards.
