Mrs. Christensen's Pre-K had a day full of reindeer games. They made headbands, played ‘pin the nose on the reindeer’, and practiced smaller and bigger with dice. You can play at home! Two people take turns roll ing a die to find out whose number is bigger and whose is smaller.

Over the past couple of days, 8th grade FACS has competed in a chili cook off competition. They started by finding recipes to use, shopping for their groceries, made their chili, and were judged on who had the best chili. A couple of questions for these students are: What was your chili recipe? Who won? What chili did you like the best?

Students put a variety of sayings on light bulbs to help the whole school find their motivation to finish out the school year strong! Students from Turtle Lake-Mercer Student Council attended the 2023 North Dakota State Student Council Convention December 10th through December 12th. Kyle Willkom was one of the keynote speakers and he challenged students to write a poem about leadership and submit it. Ariel Gilseth submitted a leadership poem and won Kyle's book, Action Packed Leadership!

Mrs. Laib's Junior Class did a Character Twitter activity where they had to create tweets based on the characters in The Crucible. We also did a "mock witch trial" where many were accused of stealing a cell phone.
