Turtle Lake-Mercer

The students in Mrs. Lelm's 4th grade are learning about environments, specifically rainforests.  The students are doing a simulation using plastic bottles and other supplies to create their own terrarium.  River and Kamdyn shared that they first added charcoal, then moss and soil before adding their plants and rainforest animal.  They explained that the only time they will have to water their terrarium is when they first put it together, after that the plants and environment should create enough condensation to keep their plants watered.  They are most excited to see if their plants actually grow and create enough condensation to keep the plant watered.
