Turtle Lake-Mercer

Mrs. Schumann’s 6th graders planned this year’s elementary field day!  The class researched, planned, tested, and ran the events for this year’s “kid approved” field day!  Some of the events they planned included three-legged race, water balloon toss, corn hole, sponge game, and more!  The class said they had fun planning their station and testing it prior to field day!  The one thing they said they would change is having a better way to let groups know when it was time to rotate.  When asked, students said the water games were their favorite activity on this hot day!  This is the class’s last year of elementary, next year they move on to 7th grade and hope the 6th grade field day becomes a tradition!
